NGC 7000 & IC 5070

Ha FS60C Ha mosaic of NGC 7000 (North America Nebula) & IC 5070 (Pelican Nebula)
The Pelican Nebula is a large area of emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus (the Swan), close to Deneb, and divided from its brighter, larger neighbor, the North America Nebula, by a molecular cloud filled with dark dust.
The North America Nebula is large, covering an area of more than ten times the size of the full moon.
The North America Nebula and the nearby Pelican Nebula, (IC 5070) are in fact parts of the same interstellar cloud of ionized hydrogen (H II region).
